2020 Toyota Auris Redesign, Release Date, Price, Interior. Toyota Auris, also known as the Corolla in the United States, iM has been running strong, as even has been hailed as the first mass-produced Toyota offers a hybrid drive in Europe. Now, for the year 2019 model, Toyota introduced the Auris third-gen and a whole new line up of powertrains to go with it.
It comes with a stylish new look on the outside, follows Toyota’s new Design language, and takes the form of a hatchback right compared to the old one, Mini wagon looks. The interior is still a complete mystery but that’s the name of the game? —topspeed.com
Toyota looks set to continue to offer the Auris hatchback and estate in form and as revealed by the spy shot exclusive it what will be the next Auris Touring sport.
The third generation of the new Auris hatchback debuted just earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show, the new model will be built at the company’s UK plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire. The hatch will be sold at the end of the year, while the area of Sports Touring seemed to follow in 2019
2020 Toyota Auris Engine
Toyota is really pushing its new Auris with hybrid drivetrains and had decided to drop a few of these machines offer in Auris before. Thus, 2019 Auris is only available with a conventional machine or two different hybrid powertrains.
Toyota Auris actually offered a choice of three different engines. One front of the conventional, non-hybrid, there is a 1.2-liter mill. In front of the hybrids, there’s 1.8-liter engine or a 2.0 liter with a bit more power.
Built on the same platform TNGA as the Prius and C-HR, third-gen Toyota Auris is offered with 100PS 1.2 petrol engine and a choice of two hybrids. 120PS 1.8-liter hybrid gasoline from an old car was taken and offered along with a new 2.0 petrol hybrids with 177PS.
1.4 diesel has been axed from the range, by the Toyota shows that the model of the future will no longer be offered with diesel-electric.
The new 2.0-liter hybrid offers energetic drivers ‘drive’ according to Toyota and with more power and steering wheel bearing shift to a more dynamic, engaging experience. It was also the debut of the new Toyota CVT gearbox, with the launch of equipment that should increase the efficiency of transmission at low speeds.
2020 Toyota Auris Specs
The Next Toyota Auris is a big departure from the second-gen model. Up front, there are cues borrowed from the new Toyota Camry, as you see with many lattice-large upfronts.
Bottom lip it hovering and those small, round fog lamps are a nice touch too. And, somehow, Toyota managed to make the old lamp look really good-design LED in the lamp that makes them stand out. In addition, the 3D view only interesting front and whatever the aggressor in this niche.
The A-pillar and a long glass, allowing for a slightly curved roof and a front end that is long enough. Beltline really sorts of sitting height, which makes for a smaller side glass but that upper body lines that will be increasingly higher from front to back of the accents are really good.
Around the back, Auris it almost reminds me of the old Megane, which has gotten a little bubble butt. Where is Toyota doing the right thing, however, which lines the body wrapped up the quarter back? Not to mention how well the rear wheels appear to sit lower in the back than in the front.
Backlight rear lights mimicking in design but with the appearance of the rear fascia and look almost like pieces of 2018 Camry, with a pair of reflectors in the corners. That’s very interesting packages all the way around, and because it is a hybrid, Toyota was able to integrate those funny little exhaust outlet in the corners.
Until now, the interior of the new 2020 Toyota Auris is a complete mystery. Chances are that Toyota will model the interior after the New Camry.
This is not really all that much from the style of the driver-focus we expect for the Auris, and overall design would make a really good successor to the Interior of Auris out. For the moment, however, take all with a grain of salt that may or may not happen. Toyota will not disappoint in this regard.
