The forthcoming 2023 McLaren Artura will offer a hybrid powertrain option, as we already said. Artura supercar will combine a twin-turbo V6 engine with an electric motor and battery pack. This output develops up to 671 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, McLaren offers an impressive eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
A 7.4-kWh lithium-ion battery pack is exact but available fuel economy ratings are not available yet. According to McLaren, Artura will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.0 seconds and its top speed is rated at 205 mph. With lighter architecture, impressive aerodynamics, and potent powertrain, Artura is a true hybrid supercar.
2023 Artura Looks Extremely Sporty
New 2023 McLaren Artura will ride on the completely new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture. This MCLA platform is designed to accommodate a hybrid system. Thanks to the heavier use of aluminum and carbon fiber, the vehicle’s weight is surprisingly light. In terms of design, the Artura supercar looks similar to the existing 720S model. Artura offers longer and thinner headlights.
The styling looks more dramatic, especially the nose and unique three-piece bumper. The vents are finished in a different shape as well and we like the new carbon-fiber splitter. The rear section also hosts thinner taillights and it looks more aggressive than the rear part of the 720S variant.
Interior Features
The interior of the 2023 McLaren Artura comes with a modern approach but it still looks very sporty. The manufacturer opted for functionality before premium and luxury stuff. The cabin wears microsuede and leather materials. Of course, nothing without the carbon fiber. Still, McLaren Artura offers a minimalistic cabin design. Even the steering wheel comes without controls and buttons.
Power-adjustable seats are offered as standard and the seating position is perfect. An 8-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard and Artura also provides standard Bluetooth, built-in navigation, and satellite radio. Safety ratings are impressive so Artura offers great comfort, perfect safety, and a lot of space inside the cabin.
2023 McLaren Artura Launch Date and Price
The price of the all-new 2023 McLaren Artura will cost a lot, most likely around $230,000. Of course, we expect to see a slightly more affordable model that will cost around $200,000 or slightly below that. McLaren will launch its new supercar by the end of 2021.
The biggest rivals are models such as Ferrari V6 Hybrid, Aston Martin Vanquish. Both competitors will offer hybrid power, although Ferrari is yet to release its new model.
