The forthcoming 2025 Cadillac Lyriq is the brand’s first all-electric SUV ever. According to the manufacturer, Lyriq will offer a 100-kWh battery pack. Thanks to that, this model will offer over 300 miles of driving range on a single charge. A DC fast-charging capability is available, but you can also charge it from home.
At this moment, Jaguar I-Pace is the fastest model in the segment and it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. New electric models are in the works so this is about to change and Lyriq is one of the models that could possibly beat the I-Pace model. However, Cadillac still didn’t say anything about SUV’s specs.
2025 Lyriq Looks Futuristic
The all-new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq will gain a new company’s DNA. That includes the latest design language that looks futuristic and very modern. Lyriq wears a full-glass two-tone roof design and the front fascia comes with a prominent grille and new choreographed headlamps.
To the sides, Lyriq SUV will look equally attractive with sharper lines and very stylish 23-inch wheels. Cadillac will deliver a unique exterior color palette, plenty of optional features, and probably a couple of trim levels. Most of the exterior details are yet to be revealed.
Interior Offers a Room For Four Passengers
As we said, a new 2025 Cadillac Lyriq will be a very modern SUV. However, we really like its incredibly spacious interior On the other hand, Lyriq offers a room for four passengers, which is very interesting. The comfort is superb and some features will be taken from the new Escalade model. The cabin design is similar. However, Lyriq offers a large 33.0-inch curved display that simply dominates the dashboard.
Just like the Escalade, the Lyriq model will use the same infotainment system, and even the same gauge display is in the offer. There is a head-up display that is offered as standard too. Cadillac will offer a Wi-Fi hotspot, a 19-speaker sound system, and numerous safety aids.
2025 Cadillac Lyriq Release Date and Price
The forthcoming 2025 Cadillac Lyriq will hit the dealerships in the last quarter of 2021. However, if the Coronavirus outbreak continues, this model will be rescheduled for early 2025. Not all of the details are available yet and that includes the vehicle’s price.
Many car experts are predicting the price to start at around $60,000. It will be interesting to see the Lyriq SUV taking on rivals such as Tesla Model X, Audi e-Tron, and Jaguar I-Pace.
