We already said the Fusion Active will offer a standard AWD system. The latest reports are strongly suggesting hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants. The same reports are saying that the Fusion Active will borrow a hybrid setup from the Ford Escape crossover.
If that truly happens, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will work in a combination with two electric motors. Another possibility is a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that generates up to 250 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission will be in the offer. Ford will unveil the official powertrain lineup in the coming months.

As we said, the new 2025 Ford Fusion Active has been spied and it seems like this model will get a mid-cycle facelift. The same changes will be applied to the European version of the Focus wagon. It seems like the Fusion Active will be larger than the compact Escape crossover.

The price of the 2025 Ford Fusion Active will start at around $30,000. If you want more luxury, we ‘d recommend trim levels that are available for $40,000 and above.
