2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, Electric, Performance, & Pics. The upcoming 2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid is coming to the markets. It seems like the electric version of the Taycan model pushed the Panamera aside. However, Porsche is willing to give Panamera another chance with a hybrid variant. Like all Panameras, this model will also get a mid-cycle facelift for 2023. This model comes with a long name but Porsche explained everything.

The “4” stands for the all-wheel-drive system, while the “S” stands for high performances. Logically, E-Hybrid suggests a plug-in hybrid powertrain. We think the new Panamera is an exciting model and a hybrid variant is a true refreshment. The sales will start by the end of 2020 but this model won’t arrive in the US before 2023.

Astonishing Performances

Under the hood, the new 2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid will stick to a familiar 2.9-liter V6. This twin-turbo engine is available in models such as Cayenne and Macan. It can produce 325 horsepower in the base Panamera variant. However, the same engine in the 4S E-Hybrid version will generate 443 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is available as well. Here comes the best part. Porsche will add a 134-hp electric motor that also adds 295 lb-ft of torque.

Total output should be rated at 552 horses and 550 lb-ft of twisting power, which is amazing. The performance figures are great and last year’s Panamera Turbo with twin-turbo V8 delivered 550 horsepower. Now, the 4S E-Hybrid will replace the discounted Turbo version. Porsche will introduce the Turbo S E-Hybrid variant at some point next year, which will be the high-performance version. The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid model will provide 18 miles of electric range and it will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

2023 Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Looks Sporty

The all-new 2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid will look very elegant. Like any other Panamera, this hybrid variant will wear the same refreshments. This particular version comes with 5.9 inches longer wheelbase than the regular Panamera. The 4S E-Hybrid model is 204.7 inches long and 78.2 inches wide. Overall height is rated at 56.2 inches.

Everything on this model looks bulky and aggressive. We like its sporty character and revised 21-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires. According to Porsche, tires are providing the best performances in Sport and Sport Plus driving modes. As for the styling, Panamera will gain slight modifications upfront.

Interior Updates

The forthcoming 2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid model will probably gain a couple of important upgrades. And while the Taycan model comes with a floating gauge panel, Panamera will arrive with a centered tachometer. Other gauges are placed into the dash, as before.

On the other hand, Porsche will replace numerous buttons with sleek touch-sensitive controls. When compared to Taycan, a new touchscreen will surely help but we think the cabin still looks outdated. While we are waiting for the official reveal, we expect for the rest of the cabin to largely remain.

2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid Price and Release Date

From what we heard, Porsche won’t offer Panamera in North America until next year. Still, the 2023 Porsche Panamera 4S E-Hybrid will reach the European dealerships by the end of 2020. The price is not official yet but this model will start at around $150,000.
