2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT All-Electric RS Redesign and Expect. The forthcoming 2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT is almost here. Audi revealed this electric grand tourer a couple of days ago. We believe this is the production version and that nothing will change before this model arrives. Its debut is scheduled for early 2021 and we will try to provide the most important details about it. Audi already shared some info, including the suspension and new thermal management setup.
The 2025 RS E-Tron GT will ride on the J1 platform, the same architecture that underpins Porsche Taycan. Not surprisingly, these two models are sharing almost the same components, including air suspension and adaptive dumpers. On the other hand, E-Tron GT comes with tuned suspension, new driving modes, and a steadier Dynamic configuration.
2025 RS E-Tron GT Suspension
New 2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT comes with the ability to raise and lower the ride height. Thanks to the Dynamic mode, you can drop the ride height by 0.4 inches. The Efficiency mode allows the customers to lower this model by 0.87 inches. On the other hand, the Comfort mode raises the E-Tron GT by 0.8 inches.
Besides this unique air suspension, this model comes with rear-axle steering. Thanks to that, steering is sharper, especially at lower speeds. Of course, higher speeds are not a problem as Audi managed to turn rear wheels with the front, so the stability is greater.
How does it look?
The customers can choose between three wheels sizes. New 2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT offers smaller 19-inch wheels and each wheel weighs 27.5 pounds. The 20-inch wheels are providing better aerodynamics. The 21-inch wheels (on the pictures) are definitely the most attractive.
There are three types of brakes. Audi delivers carbon-ceramic brakes with 10-piston front calipers. Furthermore, the Tungsten-carbide coated brakes are available too. Lastly, E-Tron GT comes with standard iron brakes.
2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT Performances
If you remember, Audi has talked about performance figures once this car debuted as a concept in 2018. Now, the manufacturer released more info about the 2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT. This car comes with a front motor that generates 235 horsepower. Moreover, a rear motor is available and it delivers 449 horses. Total output is rated at 590 hp and 640 hp with the over-boost mode. The front motor comes with a single-speed transmission and the rear one offers a two-speed gearbox. We don’t know the exact top speed or acceleration, but this model will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.4 seconds.
2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT specs
This is an all-electric model that comes with high-power fast charging and it offers a unique 83.7-kWh battery. This battery will feature liquid cooling, which is important. Audi promised a fast charge 350 kW system. The E-Tron GT will use the same configuration as the Taycan model. That means this car will offer a 270-kW fast charge, which is still quite good. Audi plans to offer 30 plug-in and electric models by 2025. This is just the beginning, but conventional gasoline and diesel engines are slowly becoming history.
