2025 BMW 3-Series EV Electric, Hybrid, Specs, and Price. The upcoming 2025 BMW 3-Series EV is the latest brand’s model that will feature an all-electric powertrain. It is just one of the 25 electric models with electric power that BMW plans to offer in the near future. Most of these models will arrive as crossovers and SUVs. However, the 3 Series EV is one of the most intriguing models and it is a sedan.
First spy photos are available and we had an opportunity to see a very exciting styling change. At this point, we don’t know when this model will exactly arrive. We hope to see the new all-electric 3 Series by the end of 2021. Here’s everything you need to know about this impressive electric sedan.
Performances
The all-new 2025 BMW 3-Series EV will be similar to the i4 model in terms of performance. We know the i4 model will arrive with the 80-kWh battery pack and it will produce 522 horsepower. The acceleration from figures are not available, but the top speed is rated at 120 mph.
That is below BMW’s standard 155 mph. The 3-Series EV will offer almost the same figures, but exact figures are not available. As for the driving range, the upcoming model will deliver above 250 miles on a single charge.
2025 3-Series EV Spy Shots, Dimensions
As we said, the prototype of the 2025 BMW 3-Series EV looks exciting. It wears heavy camouflage, most of the exterior parts are easy to spot. The design seems to be pretty straightforward, especially the front fascia. BMW opted for the kidney grille once again, but this is just a cosmetic thing as the grille is actually closed.
The rest of the front fascia won’t depart from the regular 3 Series lineup. The exhaust pipes in the back are not present in the test mule. This model will ride on the LWB architecture. Moreover, the 3-Series EV will be 190.1 inches long.
Roomy Interior
On the inside, this new model will probably look more or less the same as the rest of the lineup. The 2025 BMW 3-Series EV sits on a long-wheelbase architecture. Thanks to that, the interior will be spacious. Spy photos failed to provide interior details. The standard-wheelbase model will also go on sale.
However, a long-wheelbase will provide additional 1.7 inches of rear legroom. As for the rest of the interior, the dash will remain intact. This is a good thing as most of the customers are satisfied with the current dashboard. Everything looks premium and the cabin design is both clean and modern.
2025 BMW 3-Series EV Price, Release Date
The price is still not available, but we hope to see the new 2025 BMW 3-Series EV in late 2021. Of course, don’t be surprised if this model actually arrives in the first quarter of 2025. The 3-Series EV will rival Tesla Model 3, Polestar 2, and Mercedes-Benz EQE.
