2025 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, Electric, and Redesign. The fifth-gen 2025 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid is on the way. This reliable model will arrive by the end of this year and the price will be slightly higher. Of course, the 2025 Pathfinder will arrive in the United States. And while the 3.5-liter V6 engine remains, a hybrid powertrain is something new.

Mentioned V6 will gain slightly more power, but Nissan will drop the CVT transmission. Instead, a new gearbox is in the works and Pathfinder will offer both an eight-seat and seven-seat version. Anyway, new-gen Pathfinder is coming, and here’s everything you need to know.

New Hybrid Powertrain and New Transmission

A proven 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine will remain. However, this model will provide slightly more power. From now on, this model will deliver 284 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. That is an increase of 13 horsepower and 8 lb-ft of twists. On the other hand, the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid is the biggest novelty.

For a start, Nissan will replace the current CVT transmission with a brand-new nine-speed automatic transmission. Pathfinder offers both front and all-wheel-drive setups. The hybrid powertrain comes with a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that also powers Infiniti QX50 SUV. This engine solely produces 268 horsepower. Some reports are suggesting a 2.5-liter supercharged engine with electrified assistance, but this is not confirmed yet.

2025 Pathfinder Hybrid Redesign

Visually, the new 2025 Nissan Pathfinder Redesign will gain a completely new design. The goal is to deliver a more attractive SUV with modern styling cues. We must admit that the arriving SUV looks very impressive. Nissan did a great job in delivering new shape and the SUV will definitely look more upright. The new-gen model looks more sophisticated and it wears sharper lines. Thanks to that, Pathfinder will depart from its smaller X-Trail brother.

The front fascia perfectly reflects Nissan’s new design language. The C-shaped LED headlights are now in offer, along with the daytime running lights. However, a recognizable V-Motion grille remains. The rear section wears sleeker taillights and a satin chrome Pathfinder badge. As before, a power tailgate is available once again.
