A 2.5-liter engine works with two electric motors and it provides 221 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid setup comes with a 14.4-kWh battery pack. Thanks to that, Escape Hybrid is rated at 37 miles of all-electric range. Moreover, this crossover delivers 44 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
2025 Escape Hybrid Upgrades
Visually, the new 2025 Ford Escape Hybrid will be refreshed. For a start, Escape is a recognizable model, mostly by its larger grille that dominates the front fascia. The headlights are uniquely shaped and everything looks so modern. Some cues are taken from models such as Focus and Mondeo, but generally, it is a well-known Ford’s design language. The grille sits lower than before and the headlights are narrower. On top of that, the headlamps are now extending into the top corners, which looks nice. The price of the new 2025 Ford Escape Hybrid starts at $36,000. To compare, the regular model will cost around $30,000. The price is affordable in our opinion and in line with rivals such as Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. The Escape Hybrid model will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2021.
